Summer Fun!

Mary Cannon, a high schooler who receives formation at Riverdale, took the initiative to host a summer day camp for young girls at her house. She enlisted 7 other high school girls to help her. They provided a virtue talk and lunch each day for the little girls and had classes in art, cooking, and dance. They also made perfume and visited an elderly neighbor and did a show for her!

The counselors stayed the week at Mary’s house and had some fun formative activities together in the evenings. The week culminated in a show for the moms and siblings, and the proceeds from the week have been donated to Riverdale.
